Commercial Recycling Required in California as of July 2012 – North Oak Property Management update

While North Oak property management is currently practicing recycling at all of the properties which it manages North Oak property management felt that it was a not only a good idea but important to pass along this information to our clients and tenants alike to inform them about this now required practice. North Oak Property management feels this practice is not only good for the environment but also will lower your bottom line expenses by lowering the amount of trash pickups that a property requires (WIN WIN Solution). At the very least a property should hire (and as of July 2012 will be required to) a trash company which sorts the trash at the transfer station. This practice is a great idea for properties who have space limitations and can not fit a recycling bin.  Please click on the link for a copy of the notice which was sent out to Los Angeles, but please keep in mind this is a California bill and not only Los Angeles specific.
